BF:BC2 is a really good game that is marred by some bugs that should be worked out soon. You really need a decent computer to run it though - I get good performance on my Intel E8400, 8 Gigs of RAM and a BFG GTX 260 OC Maxcore (running at 1900 x 1080) I have everything set at medium the game is very playable.

I'll be building a new system in the next couple of weeks. I picked up a second BFG GTX 260 to run SLI a while ago but forgot that my damn ASUS P5N-D mobo has poor positioning of the SATA ports - 3 of 4 get blocked when a long video card is put it the second PCIx slot - and I use all four. So that's a good excuse to step up to an Intel i7 860 and ASUS P7P55D PRO mobo - my wife can have my old stuff.

Back to BF:BC2 - I also have problems with my router (D-Link DIR-615) and this game - not sure if was the latest patch or the latest firmware upgrade to my router (did both at the same time - d'oh!). I have to run in DMZ and turn off UPnP or I get random drops from servers. So if you are having problems - hit me up on the Steam friends list and I'll try and help.
